Mr David du Croz
David was educated at Winchester and Trinity College, Cambridge, and spent the first part of his career teaching at St Peter's in York (including a year on exchange in California), Haberdashers' Aske's, Elstree, and Berkhamsted School, both in Hertfordshire. He was Headmaster of Ellesmere College, which has a well-established Dyslexia Unit, in Shropshire for eight years, and then went back into classroom teaching again for his final job as head of history at Marlborough College, Wiltshire. In addition to his subject, he enjoys horse-racing, food (cooking and eating it!), and walking. David is married to Mary and has two grown-up children and one grandson. He became a governor of Stanbridge Earls in 2008 and serves on the Education Committee. He was formerly chairman of a preparatory school in North London and still serves on its governing body.
