Mr Nicholas Rogers
Married with two daughters in secondary education, Nick lives close to the school. After gaining a degree in law at Exeter University, he qualified as a solicitor in London before moving to the Southampton firm Lamport Bassitt, where he has been partner since 1997 and leads the insurance litigation team. Although now not especially keen on personal physical exercise, Nick represented both his school and university at rugby, experimented for a number of years with golf, and for the last five years he has been coaching junior hockey at Romsey Hockey Club. In 2009 Nick decided to return to dinghy sailing to occupy the summer months and has just bought an hilariously small boat - anything to avoid gardening. Since his appointment to the governing body in 2008, Nick has been a member of the Education Committee, and he takes a particular interest in sporting activities in the school.
