Mrs Natalie Moss

Natalie has worked in education all her life, teaching at primary, secondary and degree levels, specializing in English. She was a lead Inspector for Ofsted Inspector from 1996 to 2007, and wrote two Ofsted handbooks. A writer, consultant and lecturer in educational matters, she has lectured in universities and colleges in the UK, the USA and Europe. Until recently, she was Chief Examiner for GCSE English Literature, a role she still fulfils for the International Baccalaureate. She has specialized in the teaching of English as a Foreign Language and in training specialist teachers in this field. She has considerable experience of school management and continues to take a special interest in the teaching of English, drama and special educational needs, and EFL. A governor at Stanbridge since 2006, she currently chairs the Education Committee. Natalie has also served as a Magistrate (Winchester Bench), a local Councillor (Winchester City Council, Chairman of Committees), and as Chair/Governor at several secondary and primary schools. Natalie is a member of the Youth Justice Referral Panel and the Independent Advisory Group for the Criminal Justice Board.
