To Stanbridge Earls School

Thank you so much for inviting me to be a friend of your school, I would be very honoured and look forward to building a great relationship with you all.

As you know, I am dyslexic and really pleased to see that schools like Stanbridge are finally starting to gain prominence in the challenge to help children with learning difficulties. It must be wonderful to be surrounded by friends who understand and are empathetic.

I am currently rehearsing for a play that will open in the West End in July and am busy learning my lines (quite a challenge for anyone!). However, I am pleased to be doing this as I feel it is the next step that I want to take in my career despite it being quite a challenge and completely different to making films.

I believe it is important to look into your heart and find what it is that you really want to do in life and then never buy into what other people think or say about you. Deep down we all have a feeling that there is something unique that is “me” and it is exploring, cultivating and cherishing that spark that is a lifelong task. I hope you all have a good summer holiday and look forward to hearing more about your school in the autumn.
