Stanbridge Earls School is situated on the edge of the New Forest, two miles north of the small market town of Romsey. The 50-acre campus comprises beautiful gardens, three lakes, woods, playing fields and a historic manor house dating back to 857AD.

The vibrant cities and towns of Salisbury, Winchester, Southampton, Bournemouth and Portsmouth are all within three quarters of an hour travel by road from Stanbridge Earls. There are airports at Southampton and Bournemouth, and rail stations at Winchester, Salisbury, Southampton and Romsey. The School’s minibuses are available for hire.

ACCOMMODATION
The School can accommodate groups up to a maximum of around 150 adults and students in a mix of single, double and small, modern dormitories in seven houses. Each house has a fully equipped kitchen, showers, baths and common room with video, DVD players etc.

The School dining room and kitchen has covers for 150 at each sitting, though larger numbers can be catered for using a cafeteria system.

TEACHING FACILITIES
Several new teaching units are available including a Language block of 4 purpose-built classrooms. The ICT suite has over 30 work stations, all connected to the internet. There are a number of other specialist rooms including 2 Art Studios, a new D&T Workshop plus Classroom, a Home Economics area, a Theatre, 30 Classrooms of various sizes and a well-equipped, large Engineering Workshop.

SPORTS FACILITIES - OUTDOOR
The 20acre playing field is marked out for the major sports. There are also two hardcore tennis courts, a grass volleyball court and a skateboard ramp. The whole campus is ideal for orienteering, management training and similar courses using the lakes and woodland paths.

SPORTS FACILITIES - INDOOR
There is a large, well-equipped sports hall suitable for trampolining, archery, basketball, indoor football, cricket practice (nets & bowling machine), table tennis etc. There is also an indoor, heated swimming pool and squash courts.

Throughout the campus there are several other rooms suitable for teaching, meeting and lecturing, the largest holding up to 180, with tiered seating.
